This is an exciting opportunity for a highly engaged, experienced and professional HR Advisor to join our small team at Incisive Media. As HR Advisor, you will report into the Head of HR, Europe and provide generalist activities for Incisive Media as well as the other European businesses within the network when required.
You will be expected to provide exceptional and comprehensive administration tasks and will be actively involved in the full cycle of the HR, recruitment, benefits and payroll processes.
Main Responsibilities

To succeed in this role you will need to have a strong and proven HR generalist background with a CIPD qualification (or working towards one).
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Leading, coordinating and coaching on employee relation matters including absence management, performance management, family matters (maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, flexible working requests), disciplinary & grievance amongst others
- Providing accurate and timely professional advice to all employees (including senior management) on all HR matters
- The main point of contact for recruitment within the business, which includes approving requests against budget, training hiring managers, arranging placement of advertisements and using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Managing the onboarding process including conducting monthly inductions for new joiners and managing the probationary process
- Managing the leaver process, holding face to face exit interviews
- Collating, inputting and processing the monthly payroll each month
- Becoming the main point of contact for all IR35 queries and ensuring all contractors/freelancers are screened and comply with regulations
- Assisting with annual salary reviews, benefit selections, promotions, PDPs
- Assisting Head of HR with sourcing of training courses, programmes and training providers
What we value:
- Proven experience in leading employee relations matters (such as TUPE, disciplinary etc.)
- Experience of recruiting via LinkedIn Recruiter is a distinct advantage
- Some understanding of the payroll process including tax and NI, salary sacrifice is an advantage
- Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail is a given
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft programmes as well as HR, payroll and ATS systems
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and confidence to work with senior managers
- Driven and determined
- Must be practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
- The ability to keep calm under pressure
