Buro Happold has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and proactive HR Advisor to join our professional UK HR team. The purpose of the role is to provide vital support to the HR Business Partners, and advice to employees and line managers, ensuring that HR processes and the associated administration are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be supported by other experienced and knowledgeable HR colleagues in the UK and the wider global HR team.
This is a full-time permanent role based in our welcoming Bath office with hybrid working available (2-3 days in the office).

The key part of the role will be to manage your workload and prioritise tasks independently, as well as providing timely and appropriate advice to employees and line managers.
Key duties:
- Provide HR advice and assist with HR queries to employees and line managers regarding UK policies, processes, and Employment Law.
- Coordinate HR processes for all lifecycle activities.
- Conduct Exit/Stay interviews as requested by the HR Business Partners.
- Coordinate secondments and transfers.
- Liaise with HR Shared Services on summary reports such as absence/reconciliation reports/annual leave etc.
- Identify/analyse data trends and feedback to HR Partners/HR Director through regular catch ups.
Your skills and experience:
You will be level 3 or above CIPD qualified (or recognised global equivalent). You will also require the following:
- Practical UK Employment Law knowledge.
- Experience in an HR Generalist environment.
- Experience providing HR advisory, transactional and administrative services to line managers.
- Employee Relations experience, including note taking.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Professional attitude within a highly confidential environment.
