HR Advisor
Pay rate Up to £35k pa depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:20 and Friday 07:00 to 11:00.

Adecco have an exciting new opportunity at our client based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. We are currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor to cover Maternity Leave. The position will be for a minimum of 12 months onsite to support a distribution centre and manufacturing plant.
The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows:
Key Responsibilities include :
- Support the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) and Manufacturing Plant with all day-to-day HR issues and any Policy and Procedure queries
- Manage all day-to-day HR queries from employees
- Provide policy advice and guidance to both the Management team and employees
- Manage absence including short-term, long-term, and liaising with Occupational Health to support employees to return to work.
- Manage any Restricted employees which will include liaising with Occupational Health and the Leadership Teams.
- Manage the Occupational Health Contract for the Manufacturing Plant and the PDC
- Support and provide advice and guidance for all Disciplinary and Grievance matters.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for all vacancies internally and externally.
- Facilitate monthly meetings to support with training needs and succession planning
- Attend Consultation meetings with the Plant / PDC and Trade Union
- A minimum of HNC in a business-related subject,
- CIPD qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience working within HR is essential.
- Previous experience working within Manufacturing is advantageous
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels
- IT literate
