HR Advisor - Ammanford/Cross Hands Area

Location: Ammanford/Crosshands Area
Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Reporting to the Head of HR and enjoying hybrid working, you will:
- Operate as a stand alone HR Advisor, enjoy working autonomously, making your own decisions
- Participate in the company’s recruitment and selection process
- Using a coaching style of leadership, provide guidance and advice to the leadership team on all aspects of HR enabling management to manage their teams
- Build and maintain strong working relationships
Ensure the leadership team adheres to policies and processes - Advise on disciplinaries and grievances (there aren’t many)
Recognise opportunities to improve and increase engagement - Support in developing and updating HR policies and procedures ensuring best practice
- Organise training and benefits related sessions
- Be first line of contact for any TU related topics
- Proactively provide fresh ideas for improved ways of working in the HR team
- Assist with HR Projects, liaising with colleagues at other sites
- Provide MI reports
We are looking for a candidate:
- Educated to Degree level and CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Good understanding of Employment Law and its application to HR policies and procedures
- Confident to be stand alone HR, use own initiative and make own decisions
- Has credibility to be recognised by the leadership team as the main point of contact for providing HR advice and guidance
- Can prioritise employee issues and problems involving Head of HR only where necessary and appropriate
- Ensure all aspects of HR administration and processes are completed timeously and to a high degree of accuracy
- Enjoys working in a fast paced, pressurised environment
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with good time management skills, well able to meet deadlines essential
- Constantly seeks continuous improvement for the customer and the business
- Excellent IT skills
