Location: Based in Weston-super-Mare/Working from home

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term for 2 years

We are looking for two Human Resources Recruitment Administrator to join our newly formed Recruitment Team. This is an exciting time to join us, as we support the transformation of many of our services and the council’s priorities.


A key team player, you’ll be able to make an immediate impact in supporting the team with running our recruitment processes. You will be encouraged to contribute your ideas and be given opportunities to input into new innovative recruitment methods. You will be accurate in the preparation of documents and forms within set deadlines and be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of HR Recruitment processes. You will be able to confidently and professionally engage with managers, employees and potential employees in providing a confidential and efficient recruitment service.


As part of a busy, supportive team, key duties will include:-


  • Preparing recruitment adverts, requesting references and offer letters
  • Maintain HR recording systems and spreadsheets.
  • Supporting the onboarding process by checking and processing pre-employment documents.
  • Responding to recruitment-related queries from candidates, employees, managers and external contacts.
  • Using standard office and web-based systems, including the council’s HR/Payroll to make authorised changes to employment details and to provide management information.
