Work Pattern 30 hours, Mon-Fri between 8am-5pm (start and finish times TBC)

Role Summary
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR function providing an efficient and effective administrative service ensuring all elements of the function are completed on time and to the required specification and standard.
Coordinate and develop HR Administration ensuring good practice and employment legislation is followed at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR Department
- Provide full administrative support to the HR Department - All work carried out must be to a high standard with strict adherence to identified deadlines and confidentiality and Accuracy.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
- Compile, update and maintain employee records (hard and electronic copies)
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data and accurate data entry to the HR platform.
- Assist in all aspects of recruiting including coordinating, communication with candidates and scheduling interviews, creating and posting jobs, updating the recruitment system. Ensure supporting documentation e.g. references
- Respond to employee queries/requests to the shared inbox providing relevant information or escalation as necessary.
- Coordinate and prepare all documentation for the New starter and leaver processes including contracts, information gathering and ensure all systems are updated.
- Maintain and manage, to required deadlines, various company and group lists e.g. Starters & Leavers.
- Work with the HR Systems administrator to ensure accuracy and integrity of the HR electronic data.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Processing Visa applications/posting special delivery as required
- Answering calls and dealing with internal and external queries.
- Managing Group HR and HR Sage Inboxes and forwarding any queries to the relevant colleague
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent
- CIPD level 3 or equivalent - desirable
Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:
- Minimum of 2 years HR administration experience.
- Previous experience of Sage People is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary and benefits
- Salary £22,000 - £25,000 pro rata depending upon skills and qualifications.
