HR Administrator / Co-ordinator Middlesbrough, England

Thirteen
Full Time Middlesbrough, England 28082 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented HR Administrator to join our People team on a full time, permanent basis. If you’re an HR professional who is solutions-orientated and not afraid to challenge the status quo, we’d love to hear from you!

You’re the face of our People Team and you’ll provide professional, timely HR-related advice and support to our colleagues on a range of queries across the employee lifecycle. No two days are the same, and you’ll be working in a high-volume environment supporting HR projects, as well as processing HR transactions, issuing paperwork, and the administration of our occupational health service. You’ll also deal with other ad hoc processes such as DBS renewals, invoice processing and note-taking.

You’ll be joining a small team within HR Services, but you’ll work as part of a wider People team of 30 friendly, passionate professionals. You’ll have key links with Talent, Payroll, HR Business Partnering and Learning and Organisational Development, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working within a large HR team, who enjoys developing, automating, and implementing streamlined processes.

The Person:

To thrive in this role, you’ll have previous experience in a busy HR team, ideally processing HR transactions. If you’re CIPD qualified or working towards this, that would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, and you’ll always considers the bigger picture and the wider impacts, to effectively respond to a range of HR-related queries. You’ll be juggling lots of tasks and you’ll need to react to issues swiftly when they arise, so you’ll need to be organised and proactive in your approach.

You’ll be using a range of systems, such as iTrent, SharePoint and Power BI, so we’re looking for someone who is confident using systems or is willing to learn. Data integrity is vital and you’ll collect, analyse and maintain HR information and records in line with data protection.

Finally, providing a first-class customer service is central to this role. You’ll be knowledgeable in HR-related topics and you’ll be able to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers to deliver a high-quality HR administration service.

You’ll be working from home three days a week, and currently the team comes into our state-of-the-art offices for team time every Wednesday (Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough) and Friday (Thirteen Recycling Centre, Billingham), so we would expect you to be able to travel to these locations.

The future is exciting, and we only want the best to be part of it.

At Thirteen we're about homes and so much more.....

At Thirteen, we’re more than just a landlord. We believe everyone is an individual. That’s why we don’t just provide properties; we offer a home to suit each person’s needs.

And we’re not just about somewhere to live; our range of extra services means we can give people a helping hand specifically tailored to them if they need it.

Our strength, capacity and ambition to deliver what our customers need means we can change things for the better.

We’re the largest housing association in the North East and among the biggest 25 nationally. Today we own and manage 34,000 properties in the North East and Yorkshire region, 30,000 of them in the Tees Valley. Thirteen is still an organisation that’s local at its heart - and although our work is largely in the Tees Valley, we welcome applications from further afield because our ways of working mean we can often be flexible about where our colleagues are based.

Our skilled colleagues and board directors work tirelessly to support 70,000 tenants and customers, bringing a breadth of experience and a can-do attitude to ensure a high-quality customer experience. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds to join our committed team.

So come and be part of making a difference. Great days for everyone are made at Thirteen.

Are you up for the challenge of bringing our vision to life and having great days at work?
