We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our HR Business Partnering Team within the University’s Human Resources Department. ?This is a new role which will be key to providing administrative support to the team in a range of different activities.
Your role would include arranging meetings, drafting correspondence, taking minutes, responding to enquiries, running reports, managing documents, collating documents e.g. for Employment Tribunals, and providing admin support for projects and other activities of the team. In addition, attending meetings as note taker and taking accurate minutes as and when required.
As the role provides an opportunity to liaise with many colleagues across the University at all levels, you will bring excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Your organisational skills will be key, you will have the ability to plan your work and respond to different customer needs, priorities and deadlines, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will be educated to GCSE level including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent). In addition, you will have a relevant vocational qualification (such as NVQ 3 in administration), or equivalent work experience in a busy administrative role, preferably in a HR function. You will have proven IT skills including Office 365 (Word; Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint/Teams, Planner).
The role is based within the Human Resources department at our Kings Meadow Campus and will be offered on a hybrid basis.
This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Interviews are scheduled to be held on 9 August 2023.
