HR Administrator – growing firm, flexible + hybrid working

We have ambitious plans to expand our business. At present we have 4 offices – the largest being in Oxford, with others in Farnham, London and Basingstoke. To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our Oxford HR team. This is a permanent full time role with hybrid working and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days to suit your lifestyle).
Reporting to the HR Manager, your role will be to provide a proactive, efficient and high quality admin HR service. From an HR career development perspective, this is fantastic role to start or continue your career in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR admin support across the whole employee lifecycle including contracts, offer letters, contract amendments, probationary period, pay and benefits, promotions, sickness absence, learning and development
- Manage a central HR inbox responding promptly to queries and escalating to the HR Manager for assistance
- Ensure the relevant HR systems and files are up to date, accurate and compliant
- Become an expert in PeopleHR (our cloud based HR software system)
- Manage the new starter process ensuring all new hires have a smooth onboarding. Create induction plans and liaise with line managers.
- Provide admin assistance in the recruitment process e.g. booking interviews, creating interview packs, post job adverts
- Assist with training and development admin e.g. booking courses

What we are looking for
- Someone who is seeking an entry level role in HR or a new HR admin opportunity. You might also be someone with an admin background keen to make the move into HR.
- Super organised, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to prioritise workload effectively and work in a flexible manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills both written a verbal
- Enjoys a fast paced work environment
- A self-starter with a with a high level of resilience
- Demonstrates a strong team spirit but also very effective working independently
- A can do attitude, positive and with a strong desire to learn and develop
- Strong aptitude for IT - able to pick up new tech quickly
- Educated to A Level (or equivalent) or higher e.g. degree
- Confidentiality is paramount in HR you will need to be tactful and have a discreet manner
- Previous HR Admin experience would be great but not required
