HR Administrator
We are looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join the Team based in our Addlestone Office in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration activities around the full employee lifecycle to ensure a seamless experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- New starter process, right to work checks and visa administration, contractual changes, leaver process, maternity, and paternity leave, occupational health referrals
- Liaise with the Finance department where required to ensure accurate financial postings and budget reports are provided
- Creating and maintaining all employee personnel files and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection Act – with impeccable accuracy
- Responsible for producing HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absence, etc) and proactively thinking about how to improve the process and associated metrics
- Responsible for data control and maintenance of HRIS ensuring these are kept up to date and accurate at all times for reporting and analysis purposes
- Support with maintaining the HR department files of standard letters/templates and update or develop new ones as required in line with the legislation and/or best practice where appropriate
- Serve as a first point of contact for clients - providing an excellent customer experience with best practice advice and support to the HR team and wider business on general HR issues
- Ensure standard operating procedures are in place for all HR processes and that these are documented and kept up to date
- Support HR administration tasks and undertake special projects, as and when required including, but not limited to probationary reviews, technical ladder, private medical, right to work, contractual changes etc
- Support the Talent Manager with administration around induction events and other ad-hoc projects.
- Responsibility for maintenance of content for HR/employee intranet pages – providing a one-stop-shop for managers to help them manage their people
- All employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group safety requirements
- Employees must comply with Company Health & Safety requirements and set a personal example of safe behaviour.
- Employees will be required to contribute to the Company safety objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to Schindler Ltd occupational health and safety management system
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven HR administration experience and knowledge
- Demonstrable analytical: ability to think conceptually to have impact
- Evidence of ability to work in small teams but with broad client base
- Ability to interact with all levels and be an integral part of the operation
- Confident communicator – both verbal and written
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Relationship building skills (internal and external)
- Strong IT skills
