Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, we are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting our HR department with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures.
Responsibilities:
General -
- Provide comprehensive people administration support
- Update and maintain Employee records and systems
- Manage employee life cycle paperwork including the maintenance of digital files; manage and track right to work documentation; issue offer letters and; employment documentation; request and secure employment references; and leaver documents, be in contact with IT support to manage first day equipment and ensure access requests to relevant platforms
- Manage effective onboarding process supporting Managers with their onboarding
- Communicate and respond to emails, escalate where appropriate
- Coordinate and make improvements to policies, processes and procedures and keep
- Employee Handbooks updated
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant records.
- Help organise company events and employee engagement initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
- Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Provide assistance and support to the HR Operations Manager as needed, contributing to the efficient functioning of HR operations and initiatives.
Employee Experience -
- Make recommendations and implement Workplace environment improvements based on feedback and findings
- Hold focus groups and run employee engagement surveys providing follow up plans and work with Managers to implement positive change
- Set up ED&I initiatives that build towards a more equitable workplace culture
- Make recommendations for improved employee wellbeing and culture building initiatives
- Ensure employee Health and Safety procedures and policies are well maintained
Learning and Development -
- Assist with the Performance Review processes by maintaining Lattice
- Review current learning needs and devise a learning offer
- Coordinate and implement various trainings and learning opportunities that grow the capability of Safiyaa employees
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude.
