Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Being point of contact for HR queries, dealing with all information in a professional and confidential manner with the highest attention to detail, supporting our people and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and group policies and procedures
- Being first point of contact for Cezanne both internally and externally, assisting with any queries and keeping Cezanne up dated with any changes needed
- Add, delete, change all new starters/leavers/employment changes to Cezanne
- Administer HR-related documentation, such as offers of employment and terms and conditions of employment, promotion, salary increases, references, annual review letters, flexi working requests, sabbaticals, contract changes etc.
- Diarise and liaise with line managers regarding any End of Probationary periods, returns from maternity, sabbaticals, flexible working
- Liaise with any new starters ensuring they complete & return all the necessary forms and that they are aware that external IT providers will contact them to arrange delivery of their equipment
- Upload all documents on to Cezanne and add policies for signing. Note any medical conditions or dietary requirements.
- Liaise with external IT providers to ensure new starters have the required equipment and set up needed on first day
- Notify external IT providers regarding any leavers to ensure that leavers are removed from all systems at end of last working day
- Liaise with any leavers to ensure that they are aware of how to return any equipment
- Ensure that Eserve is updated with any new starters and leavers as appropriate
- Ensure the HR platform (Cezanne) is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
- Responsible for arranging and delivering part of the induction programmes, including first day HR/welcome and back to work inductions
- Arrange and conduct maternity planning meetings, exit interviews ensuring any issues or concerns are raised and addressed as appropriate
- Supply employment/mortgage reference letters
- Continually improving the way we work in line with business needs, changing employment law and best practice. Ensuring all checklists and documentation is up to date and remains relevant
- Responsible for the administration of our employee benefits to include; pension, private health care, life cover, income protection, EAP, childcare vouchers
- Preparation of monthly payroll data, and HR reports to include; absence levels, turnover, recruitment update and annual holiday situation
- Keeping the Obsidian Employee Information spreadsheet updated
- Keeping the Organisation Chart updated
- Covering for office administrator during holidays and sickness absence
- Supporting the HR Generalist, manage the recruitment process, liaising with recruitment agencies, placing on line adverts, arranging interviews and issuing relevant correspondence
- In conjunction with the office administrator; administer the learning and development programme, booking employees on courses, organising venues and refreshments (both inhouse and external), liaising with external providers as needed
Experience Required:
- Ideally have recognised HR qualification (CIPD level 3)
- Must have relevant HR experience and proven experience working in a busy generalist HR position
- Must be a fully proficient user of Microsoft Office – advanced MS Office user
- Experience of working with HR IT platforms
- Experience of administering payroll is preferred but not essential

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
