We are looking for a Health & Safety Team Administrator to work with our growing team of health and safety professionals. Based in our Leeds office, you shall work as part of our CDM/Health and Safety team to meet our service delivery commitments in terms of health and safety file production and issue. In your role you will help and support our exciting and expanding workload in various sectors of industry
Our brief for many clients is to produce electronic health and safety files to set templates and upload them onto client extranet or similar database systems within specific timeframes, to meet laid down KPI’s and invoice milestones
Use of electronic database systems, input of information and as built information quickly and efficiently is therefore a key requisite, together with good communication skills, self motivation, attention to detail and general desire to succeed.
This business sector involves working on high value strategically important projects, framework volume projects of significant numbers of repetitive type works and a variety of individual construction projects of varying complexity.

Responsibilities

You will work on a range of problems like the following examples:
- Production of standard and non-standard health and safety files
- Assessment of contractor information, mechanical & electrical O & M manuals to meet client templates
- Liaison with clients and involvement in obtaining site information
- Working with the project team on the development of the existing project control systems to incorporate best practice and procedures
- Working on providing document standards and minimum standards of files to all projects
- Support senior managers in producing monthly reports, programmes and financial management of commissions
- Assist with production of documents and undertake general administrative procedures in the Leeds office, when required.
- Production of ad hoc reports informing the H&S Consultants of significant cost and time impacts and their effect on progress and budget
Requirements
- We are looking for individuals that can think laterally and possess a sound understanding of electronic database systems, typical Microsoft computer programmes and keyboard skills. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and can build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
- Candidates should hold relevant educational qualifications in English, Maths, IT etc. Those candidates having the ability to multi-task and understand that change and progress will happen and who are prepared to meet challenging targets will be preferred.

Additional Information
You will be office based but may be required to visit sites with health and safety professionals to meet contractors and give direction in terms of health and safety file information, format and delivery
