Job description

Job Summary:

  • To work on the system and ensure that all relevant people data is updated and is kept up to date
  • To assist in the coordination of the recruitment function, adhering to all statutory and group/ company policies and procedures.
  • To provide support to the wider HR team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining all online people files
  • Maintain all employee information, including new hires, leavers and changes to include:

-Updating systems

-Completing relevant paperwork

  • Assist in all aspects of the recruitment function
  • General Administrative duties
  • Work with other members of the HR Team to ensure that departmental policies and procedures are up to date / clearly communicated and revised as appropriate
  • Assist with general employee queries
  • Preparation of New Hire Packs and assisting in New Hire induction as requested
  • Distribution of requested information to employees and departments
  • Assist in all other areas of HR as appropriate and undertake ad hoc project work as required
  • To participate as a member of the HR Team, sharing good practice and knowledge

Key Skills Required

Qualifications, experience & skills:

  • GCSE Grade A - C or NVQ Level 2/3
  • Experience in an administrative capacity is required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and Word
  • Well-developed problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills

  • A detail oriented, self-motivated individual with the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation is required
  • Must commit to maintain strict confidence regarding all sensitive and confidential information she/he will have to handle
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

  • Positive, focused and can-do attitude
  • Able to work co-operatively with others to complete tasks and implement process improvements

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
