Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. The role:
To work alongside the HR Officer ensure the efficient running of the HR administration process, to deliver high quality service for staff and managers. Processing documentation for payroll, including starters and leavers, ensuring the HR database is accurately updated and related HR records and files are kept up to date accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process new starter documentation for payroll, ensuring information is accurate and relevant checks have been completed.
- Administration of leavers, calculating annual leave entitlements, instructing payroll and informing IT.
- Collate and process hourly paid timesheets and overtime claims to agreed monthly payroll deadlines, ensuring high accuracy.
- Collate, process and review monthly part-time lecturing payments to agreed payroll deadlines, ensuring audit trails are maintained.
About you:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in relevant area i.e. Business Administration
- Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification
- Proven track record of working within an administrative role.
- Experience of working with sensitive information and applying information security best practice.
