Job description
Climar are a Newport based manufacturing company producing innovative fencing and home and garden improvement products for homes across the UK. Our products include Colourfence, ColourRail, ColourGate and ColourShed. Our home improvement and garden solutions are high quality, bespoke installations that are maintenance free and guaranteed to last. Products are manufactured on site in our modern factory and are installed nationwide by our managed territory and franchise network. Climar are a fast growing and ambitious company and are looking to double the size of the business over the next 18 months.
The Role
As a growing organisation we are looking to take on a full time HR administrator to help manage recruitment, on boarding of new starters and other general HR duties such as maintaining holiday and absence logs, posting and managing recruitment ads and being a first line point of contact for colleagues with HR queries.
Main responsibilities
· Covering all HR admin duties.
· Placing job ads, maintaining job descriptions, screening, testing and arranging interviews, collecting references.
· Maintain standard HR document templates such as job descriptions, offer letters etc. to ensure consistency.
· Maintain absence records, holiday, overtime and other attendance related to payroll.
· Ensure HR processes are adhered to in the event of disciplinary or dispute.
· Updating training logs and PDP files.
· Managing and maintaining personnel files and employee information.
· Manage administration of lone worker protection vehicle tracking and other admin around company vehicles.
· Responsible for fleet management
· Taking phone calls and answering queries.
· Help manage the process for new starters, leavers, maternity/paternity leave etc.
Required skill set
· CIPD Level 3/Foundation level
· Able to work within GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must have excellent attention to detail.
· Good knowledge of recruitment processes.
· Experienced with Payroll Administration.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Advantageous
· CIPD Level 5/Intermediate level
· Experience of drafting and updating company handbook and other HR processes
· Ideally this person will understand a Manufacturing & Production environment
· Experience in complex salaries, shift patterns, overtime etc. beneficial
