Burgerism is on a mission to become the #1 delivery burger brand across the UK. Burgers are now the most delivered food in the UK - yet there is no leading delivery burger brand - which is why we want to become the Domino’s of burgers, and see a huge market opportunity for what we do.
We started out in April 2018, from our base in Manchester, selling exclusively through the delivery marketplaces. Customers loved what we offered and word of mouth spread quickly. By 2021, The Burgerism Meal was the 8th most ordered item on Deliveroo in the UK - and the most ordered burger in Manchester.
We’ve now grown to 5 sites - with a mixture of dark kitchen, takeaway and concession formats. We’re on the cusp of becoming a national brand and are set to open an additional 7 sites in 2023 - taking us to a total of 12 locations.

The Job:
With our rapid growth we need more support for our HR and general operations functions. This is a varied role and will provide the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will:
- Assist in the administration of recruitment, including managing job postings, arranging interviews, replying to candidates and screening applications
- Maintain and updating employee files with personal information, contact details, qualifications, training records etc.
- Ensure effective administration of all processes associated with onboarding and leaving the organisation
- Ensure holidays, sickness and absence records are accurate and up-to-date
- Monitor HR metrics
- Support the Operations team as required with administrative tasks, including:
- Arranging meetings and travel
- Updating meeting minutes and paperwork
- Ordering office supplies and consumables
The Right Candidate:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload effectively
- Experience in handling sensitive information with integrity
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace systems, especially Google Docs, Sheets and Drive
