We are pleased to share an opportunity to join Flagship Group’s Samphire Homes Team, as a Housing Visiting Officer. The role is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week: Monday to Friday.
This is a field-based role, working across Samphire Homes area / patches. Samphire Homes area / patches includes but is not limited to the following locations: Cambridge, Eley, Thetford, Bury St. Edmunds, Ipswich and Newmarket.
The role comes with Agile Working.
The role
Our Housing Visiting Officers work directly with our Tenants in the community, gaining an understanding of the tenants that need our help the most. Our supportive and proactive approach helps tenants to sustain their tenancy. If you are passionate about making a difference to our Tenants then please read on!
Housing Visiting Officers work as part of the wider housing team, gaining knowledge and insight, ensuring any housing-related queries are answered quickly whilst providing excellent Customer Service. You will be responsible for carrying out Tenant visits to identify welfare and support needs, and property condition concerns, and assist with any ongoing tenancy management cases. You will build positive relationships with Tenants; we want all of our Tenants to feel supported and understood.

The skills you need:
Ideally, you will come from a Housing background but it isn’t essential, experience in a Customer facing role is essential. You will be proactive, a skilled communicator who is able to prioritise and make decisions. A full induction of the role will be conducted upon joining. You will be computer literate and have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements. A full UK driving licence is essential.
