Job description
Llandudno Hostel is a vibrant tourist bunk bed accommodation provider.
Fast changing of bunk beds is essential for this role includes the possibility of 23 bed changes per day; although that is rare! Llandudno Hostel has 49 beds split across 11 bedrooms. Housekeeping/General Assistant you will report directly to the Hospitality Manager or Duty Manager. You will be responsible for:
- Housekeeping cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, hoovering, dusting, cleaning mirrors etc
- Replenishing complimentary trays
- Bunk bed changes
- Laundry (stain removal, washing, hanging out, bringing in) and roller ironing
- Possibility of extra house waiting on breakfast or dinner and lay-up cutlery for dinner and breakfast for groups (this is very occasional). Simple waiting on - nothing fancy, just helping get food out to hungry groups.
Qualities and desirable experience we are looking for:
- Positive team player
- Trustworthy, punctual and reliable (we need commitment to the shifts listed above)
- Ideally some background cleaning
- Physically fit (we have 4 floors and quite a few stairs)
- Hard-working (we have multiple bunk-beds you will be helping to change)
- Ability to work by independently when required
