Housekeeping Assistant - Wincanton, Somerset
Hours: Casual

The housekeeping team who are the backbone of the hotel operation. Without the amazing housekeeping team, we just wouldn’t work. You will be working closely together to ensure that our hotels are perfectly presented at all times, our housekeeping team not only knuckle down with the cleaning, but are outgoing people, who enjoy engaging with our guests.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver exceptional standards of service which exceed customer expectations.
- Service rooms or public areas as allocated by the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor ensuring standards are consistently met.
- Carry out routine and periodic cleaning in allocated areas as requested by the management.
- Understand the importance of attention to detail.
- Record all maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor.
- To be fully conversant with the hazardous substance regulations to abide by the assessment and proper storage of these substances.
- Ensure all abused linen is discarded appropriately and reported to the housekeeper.
- Attend training as requested and implement techniques learned into the department.
