Here, every spotless space shows how much we care.

From cleaning private rooms to the public areas everyone enjoys, you'll play a big part in helping us make our hospitals warm and welcoming. We'll look to you to maintain our high standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors and patients.

You might find the work familiar, but there is also a shared sense of purpose in delivering a complete patient care experience. That means you can make a special kind of difference to people just when they really need it, whether that's by ensuring a patient's room is gleaming before admission, or our communal areas are clean and tidy for visitors, everything you do here will have a direct impact on our patients and their families, reassuring them they're in the best hands when they're at their most vulnerable.

Who we're looking for

You'll be passionate both patient care and cleanliness - someone who is able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff. You'll also be comfortable working in a hospital environment and coming into contact with patients.

What you'll get in return

In return, you can expect real career progression. We invest in our people, celebrate individuality, and reward and recognise employees who go above and beyond. As well as a competitive salary, unrivalled career development and shifts that can help you achieve a better work/life balance, you'll also enjoy:

  • medical insurance, including critical illness cover, dental insurance and life assurance
  • contributory pension
  • subsidised Gymflex membership
  • GP health assessment, plus private face to face and digital GP services
  • the option to buy or sell holidays
  • access to Portland Maternity Services

Plus a host of other perks and benefits, including travel Insurance, season ticket loans, the cycle to work scheme - and even free Taste and Gourmet Society cards.
