We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant to join our Marie Curie team in Bradford, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £ 21,318 pro rata per Annum
Hours/Contract: 18.75 hours / Part Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Bradford, West Yorkshire

As a Housekeeping Assistant you will ensure the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met and maintained in all areas of the Hospice and that the laundry and ironing is kept up-to-date at all times. You will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as knowledge of CoSHH and the ability to work as part of a team. As this post covers a 7 day service including weekends ,Bank Holidays, annual leave, sickness and other short-term absence there is a requirement to be flexible in terms of working hours. This will be planned wherever possible but may include short notice cover. If you have a personable, positive attitude and previous experience in housekeeping, we would welcome your application here at the hospice!

- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Empathy for the ethos of the hospice
- Experience of working in a Healthcare Setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- The ability to work flexible hours as required
