Housekeeping Assistant
Barony Lodge Residential Care Home, Barony Road, Nantwich
£10.52 per hour (pay rate effective 1st April 2023)

Where you’ll work
Nantwich’s Barony Lodge also has its own hair and beauty salon, with a nail bar and authentic hood hairdryers. There is a visiting mobile hairdresser and our residents can also book appointments here with private beauty professionals if they wish. Or if someone fancies a manicure without an appointment, our team are always happy to oblige! The library is decorated with wooden effect panelled paper and again has luxury seating so residents can sit back and relax with a good book. Then there is a vintage café, with Cath Kidston style decorations, bunting, pretty table cloths and vintage crockery. The residents decided they would like a ping pong table, so our beautiful café doubles up as a venue for some highly competitive tournaments!

- As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high quality housekeeping service, whilst showing care and commitment to having a positive impact on our residents’ lives
- You will work with a team, all who want to make our residents comfortable in their home.
What skills do I need?
Team work! A happy team, makes for happy residents and a happy home.
Experience is not essential, as we will help you with all the training and support you’ll need to do the job, what is important is that you are caring, enthusiastic and have energy to share. Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach. You will also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve.
