Job description
- To maintain the cleaning standard to the Residents, administration and Public areas in accordance with the agreed cleaning specification.
- To support the Head of housekeeping in the day to day running of the department.
- To provide Laundry duties to ensure that all residents have access to a good quantity of clean and well fitted quality clothes for their personal use.
- To ensure all work schedules are adhered to and that specialised cleaning of high risk areas such as source isolation residents and MRSA rooms are cleaned in line with Infection Control Policies.
- To aid in the control the issuing of cleaning materials, equipment and line to avoid overuse, misuse and misplacing.
- To ensure all equipment is in a safe and good working order.
- To liaise with residents and nursing staff to ensure that communication levels remain open at all times.
- To deal immediately with any customer complaints and pass them to the Manager if you are unable to resolve them.
- To attend all necessary mandatory training.
- To attend departmental meetings and contribute to service development and strategies.

Salary: £10.50 per hour
