Following recent growth of the operation at The Gamekeeper's Inn, on Long Ashes Park, we've diversified our operation and evolved our offering, with a forward-thinking approach. We have 11 bedrooms, a 64 cover bar and restaurant as well as a function suite which holds events for up to 150 delegates. We’re looking for a a hard working housekeeping assistant passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment.
About the team
Based in Threshfield, a short drive from Grassington, The Gamekeeper's Inn team comprises of talented chefs, management, wedding coordination, waiting on staff, housekeeping and maintenance. Sat on Long Ashes Park, the team enjoy full use of the leisure facilities onsite and a beautiful bustling atmosphere.

Your New Role:
- Prepare laundry bags for lodge turnarounds
- Assist with the drop off and pick up of laundry around the park (we have a van onsite, a drivers licence desirable but not essential)
- Clean lodge kitchens including the fridge, oven, hobs and work tops
- Hoover and mop the floors
- Dust surfaces and areas where cobwebs may sit
- Change the bedding and alert the head housekeeper to quality issues
- Clean bathrooms including sinks, baths, showers and toilets
- Empty bins
- Complete basic inventory checks and highlight if something is missing or broken to maintain lodge standards
- Check appliances are in working order, report any issues to the head housekeeper and/or the maintenance team
- Top up toiletries, coffee, tea, milk and biscuits
- Complete refresh services, including changing towels and bedding mid-stay
- Highlight any health and safety hazards to the deputy or site manager
- Train and support new members of the housekeeping team (in the future)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week
Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour
