We are recruiting 2 passionate housekeepers on a full time basis for a country house hotel (Gartmore House) in Gartmore near Aberfoyle.
Our guests come to Gartmore House to have a holiday, while enjoying crafting. We offer a 5 night break, doing one of the 40 crafts we offer, from Patchwork quilting to corsetry.
Guest arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Friday morning so, the rooms are generally empty on Fridays and Saturdays until the new guests arrive on Sunday pm, which gives us a plenty of time to make sure the rooms are sparkling for new guest's arriving.
We do a daily refresh.
We are looking for career housekeepers, who love their profession and take a real pride in making sure their rooms are immaculate.
We have an in-house laundry and also use a local laundry service for the turnarounds.
You will also have a large purpose built housekeeping room with storage cupboards and work station
The posts are full time and permanent, working 8 hour shifts over 5 set days (generally one housekeeper off on Monday and Tuesday and the other off Wednesday and Thursday.)
looking for someone with housekeeping experience, ideally someone who is good with guests and is willing to interact and engage with our customers.
1 of the candidates we would look to oveersee our buffet breakfast service in the morning. which runs for 45 minutes and is self service for guests, so it is most a set up, clear and reset task. After this is complete the candidate will then move back onto housekeeping tasks after
immediate start for correct candidate.

£11.50 an hour plus meal when on shift.
