Fessey House is not your “traditional” care home.
Our 68 bed home comprises of 6 individual purpose built units, each of which include a kitchen, lounge and dining room.
Our service users are aged 65+, all with a cognitive impairment such as Dementia. It is a unique, modern environment, recently extended, with vast landscaped gardens and communal activity rooms for our residents to enjoy.
Fessey House aims to provide a supported living environment where older people can feel safe, secure and free to live their lives as independently as possible.

Your next role
As a Housekeeper, you will complement our current friendly team, supporting our individuals to gain the best outcome for them to live the life they deserve here with us.
We pride ourselves on the person-centred approach we have for supporting both our individuals and their families.
Experience of working with elderly people either formal or informal is essential, along with an awareness of Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
As part of the COVID19 strategy this role will be subject to regular COVID-19 testing, as per the guidance set out by the Department of Health and Social Care.
Working with us
We offer a mixture of shift patterns including “earlies” from 8:30am to 12:30pm and “lates” from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
Fessey House is located on Brookdene in Haydon Wick, easily accessible by bus between Orbital Shopping Park and Park North on the number 5 service or between Taw Hill and Middle Wichel on the number 11 service.
