JOB TITLE: Housekeeper
HOURS: 12 per week (on a rota basis)
BAND: Hospice Band 2 - £9.70 per hour (pending review)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Housekeeping Supervisor
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Health, Safety and Estates Manager
Our valued team of Housekeepers carry out their duties in all areas of the Hospice, including our office areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and the provision of a safe environment for patient care.
We need someone with a ‘can do’ approach, who works well within a team and has the ability to organise their workload.
Appropriate knowledge and experience of cleaning equipment and health and safety protocols is advantageous, however full training will be given to the successful candidate.
Shifts will be mornings, afternoons and weekends over a 7-day flexible rota. The shifts vary and can be between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
St Luke’s is an adult hospice based in Winsford that cares for people in mid and south Cheshire who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. We offer specialist treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year.
