If you can answer yes to the above, then we REALLY want to hear from you!
We have an exciting opportunity for an initiative-taking, confident, and fun individual to join us in the recently formed Central Operations Team as Communications Assistant.
You will work closely with the Head of Central Operations, who will guide you on your path to building an internal communications framework and becoming a true expert.
- Lead our events calendar – from critical high impact information, competitions, and company events
- Manage communications and the tools used to produce and track them
- Drive the day-to-day management of our internal communication channels and platforms including Urgent Updates, Weekly Updates, Cascades, and internal messaging ensuring content is relevant, easy to engage with, time driven and aligned with our strategy
- Partner the People Team on strategic internal engagement projects, along with Marketing, to ensure our internal ‘look and feel’ matches our external, and we are supporting marketing plans with internal operator driven activity
- Manage and facilitate the planning, scheduling, copywriting and coordinating cross functionally
- Take learnings from project launches on the effectiveness of the comms campaigns to ensure we are continuously evolving in our methods and practices
- Excellent grasp of written and verbal English. The successful candidate will be able to write with multiple tones, depending on the activity and with flawless grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Creativity and imagination, a sharp eye for detail, ability to prioritise, work collaboratively, respond to feedback, and keep your eyes on the bigger picture
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Problem solving/critical thinking. You will need to analyse your findings and use these to implement new communication strategies. You do not need to be a Wizz on Excel, but you will use it often (so be a Wizz at learning and self-development).
