Objectives/Purpose of Role:
To deliver a great guest experience and work well with the team to ensure every hotel bedroom, bathroom & public areas are clean, stocked and presented to full Innkeepers standards therefore creating a comfortable and welcoming environment with a key aim of ensuring our guests have a great stay, revisit and recommend us.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Our team deliver excellent guest service, at all times by:
•Cleaning and presenting all bedrooms to full, high brand standards
•Cleaning and presenting all bathrooms to full, high brand standards
•Ensuring all public spaces in the hotel & corridors are clean, tidy, and well presented
•Making every bed (including sofa beds and travel cots) to full brand standards
•Ensuring all linen cupboards, cleaning stores and laundry trolleys are kept clean, tidy, and organised
•Ensuring all laundry (Clean and dirty) is stored correctly
•Adhering to all cleaning schedules to ensure every aspect of the hotel is cleaned on a regular basis
•Following room, key, and lost property procedures at all times
•Communicating and working well with the hotel and broader team in the business
•Giving every guest you see a friendly greeting (or genuine farewell) and encourage them to return
•Answering any questions and dealing with queries from guests efficiently and professionally
•Maintain personal knowledge by completing in house and online training on Mable Key Skills & Behaviours
•Pull together when the going gets tough
•Do what I say I will
•Take time to walk in the guest’s shoes and suggest a better way of doing things
•Value everyone’s opinion, no matter who they are
•Recognise that people are different and adapt to suit their needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 8-30 per week
Salary: £6.41-£9.50 per hour
