Introduction:
As part of a regeneration program at Glasgow River Clyde We have a new Campus. This will involve large office space, food stalls Shops and Events. We are recruiting for Individuals who will provide a good knowledge of customer care and housekeeping experience.
Purpose:
To provide Housekeeping Services operating within the Glasgow campus and delivering to meet the ISS values and leadership principles, and the unity values that were created between ISS and their client.
To focus on the expected team behaviours for achieving significant results and outcomes for the business, helping ISS to maintain its leading-edge status within the industry and to build on our reputation with the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
· To carry out general cleaning tasks as detailed on the tasked Standard Operational Procedures to agreed standards as directed by Housekeeping lead/ Site Supervisor
· To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene
· To ensure correct material, equipment and methods are used always and equipment kept clean and in good working order.
· To report faulty equipment/ machinery immediately
· To ensure effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the customer and ISS colleagues.
· To attend training as required by your Site Supervisor/ Site Manager
· To report any near misses, accidents and dangerous occurrences to your Site Supervisor/ Housekeeping lead
· To carry out additional hours where requires helping cover business needs and holidays/ sickness
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
· Cleaning in a contact centre/Hospitality environment
· Good customer facing skills/ Highly motivated
· Excellent communication Skills.
· Flexibility to meet Client Demand
Principle Duties
· Actively encourages a customer-based focus within the Housekeeping team
· A keep eye for detailed on cleaning specifications.
· Familiar with service delivery and specification and delivers quality by following all housekeeping procedures.
· Builds relationships in a professional manner.
· Courteous and polite when dealing with Internal and external customers
· Adhere always to a professional and personal presentation.
· A can-do attitude.
20 hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 17:00-21:00
RTW and DBS checks will be completed
