Job description

We have a vacancy in the Operating Theatres at Scarborough Hospital for an Operating Department Orderly (ODO).

The successful candidate will be required to participate in the safe transfer of patients to and from the operating department, collection and delivery of items to and from the unit as well as routine cleaning and maintenance of the theatre environment and equipment. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work as part of the team. Observational skills are required as well as technical ability as you may be required to operate equipment and machinery.
