Job description
We are looking for the best candidates to fill this position. You will occupy a key position, since the cleanliness of our rooms is our priority.
Job summary:
The Assistant to the head Housekeeper combines the duties of housekeeping, room crew management, laundry and housekeeping of common areas, task assignment, quality control and housekeeper support.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team of housekeeper in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in her administrative tasks.
- Clean rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and quality of cleaning.
- Wear the required uniform and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with WHMIS and CNESST standards.
- Respect and plan the cleaning schedules according to the wishes of the customers.
- Respect the privacy of users and their personal belongings.
- Maintain good customer relations.
Requirements:
- Already in Canada.
- Ability to work physically.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse work teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and stress tolerance.
- Have a good sense of organization and priority management.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness in communicating with a multi-ethnic team.
- French/English bilingualism (asset).
- Available to work at least one weekend out of two.
Salary and benefits:
- Salary of $19.85/hour + supervision bonus of $2.00/hour.
- You will be eligible for the insurance plan after 3 months of work.
