Job Title: House Keeper

Trust: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

Location: The Walton Centre, Lower Lane, Fazakerley, Liverpool, L9 7LJ

Band/Pay rate: Band 2 £10.37 - £18.97 (Shift dependent)

Contract: NHS Bank

Rota: Flexible Shifts

Hours / Shifts: 07:00am – 3:00pm / 3:00pm – 11:00pm / 11:00pm – 07:00am

NHS Professionals require pro-active and hardworking House Keepers to Join the NHS Bank at The Walton Centre, Liverpool

Hours will vary and the role will suit someone who is already working as a housekeeper or domestic assistant and would like to pick up some extra hours.

Hours will be released onto the bank and you will self-book when available but the shift patter will be as listed above.

Key Responsibilities

· Working with domestics and domestic supervisors you will ensure that all cleaning standards meet the requirements for the unit.

· Maintain a daily environment and ensure that the unit is always safe and tidy

· Stock replenishment and ordering of provisions

· Ensure all daily menus are completed by the patients within the agreed time frames

· Work with the hostess to deliver and distribute meals per standards and meal sheets

· Ensuring food safety is met within the unit by monitoring temperatures and following food safety standards

· Promote a safe work environment for all staff and patients

· Assist with health and safety audits and work with the fire officer to ensure the unit complies to safety standards

Requirements

· Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or domestic services desirable

· Good IT skills

· Good communicator who can follow instructions

· Able bodied – this role is very physical

· Previous administration or office experience

· Excellent telephone manner

· Good understanding of Microsoft office

· Computer literate

· Excellent communicator
