Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Colchester Hospital, Turner Road, CO4 5JL
Shift Pattern: Various Shifts available Monday- Friday, please see below:
7am-3:30pm / 9:45am- 6:30pm / 11:30am- 8pm / 1:30pm-10pm / 4pm-8pm
Pay: £11.45 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

What you’ll be responsible for:
· General cleaning of the hospital wards, public and other clinical areas.
· Ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
· Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment
· Liaise with ward and departmental staff, colleagues, line managers and patients.
Some catering tasks maybe necessary.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Experience in a domestic/ similar role
· Experience in using scrubber dryer floor machines
· Knowledge of methods of cleaning including colour coding
· Excellent customer service
· NHS Experience- desirable not essential
· Reliable and hard working
