Housekeeper

As one of our Housekeepers you will be responsible for housekeeping and cleaning requirements for our hospices and office spaces.
You’ll ensure the environment is safe and comfortable and that the bedrooms and communal areas are clean as well as cheerful.
The ideal candidate will have a very positive attitude and be committed to providing the highest standards of service.
The Housekeeper will be expected to work without direct supervision and be responsible for housekeeping and cleaning requirements liaising closely with the Lead Housekeeper for identification of needs.
To assist the Lead Housekeeper in making necessary preparations for the children, young people and their families with the daily cleaning of care floors and preparation of parent’s accommodation and children’s/young adult’s bedrooms.
To ensure that all communal areas and office spaces are clean, tidy and safe for all colleagues and visitors to the Hospice sites.
To ensure communal kitchens are cleaned, daily, and stocked up with beverages.
Full time hours (37.5 hours) are normally Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, with occasional weekend shifts.
Full/part-time considered
