Role: Locum ANP

Location: Leeds

Rate: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + unsociable hours

Hours: Part-time and Full-time available.

We are currently seeking for a motivated and keen candidate for the above job.

The Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP) utilises expert clinical and knowledge to manage patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated problems in addition to those with chronic long-term conditions.

The job holder must have the following knowledge, training and experience:

• First Level registered nurse (NMC) ECP, or ACP.
• MSc in advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 6 or 7, or equivalent in Advanced Physical Assessment skills, Minor Illness, disease management, etc.
• A Non-medical prescribing qualification
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Satisfactory DBS clearance
• Experience of managing acute undifferentiated presentations
• Ability to triage (desirable)
• Good understanding of autonomous practice within a minor illness/urgent care centre and the roles that deliver this
• Experience in using I.T. based patient documentation systems.
• Knowledge of IT systems including System One, Adastra or EMIS (desirable).
• In-depth Knowledge of the CQC Key lines of Enquiry
• Current knowledge of government targets and initiatives and N.I.C.E. guidelines and their impact on clinical practice.
• Understanding of clinical audit.
• Actively supports Clinical Governance

• Agree plans and outcomes by which to measure success.
