Job description
HOUSKEEPER
Food and Hotel Room included with the position. (No fees)
48h/Week minimum + Possible Overtime
Room attendant
To clean and stock allocated guest rooms to ensure standards of cleanliness and presentation resulting in guest satisfaction. Mornings, afternoons, weekends and possible overtime.
MAIN DUTIES
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, carpet, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, etc.

WiFi provided at main Lobby and Restaurant only.
Shift schedules are between 8 - 12 hours (Time varies depending).
Health benefits provided after 3 months.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Can communicate well with guests.
Willing to relocate to a remote area.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Necessary:
At least 6 months of experience
$18.00 CAD/hour + tips
International and local customers. Unique spot in the vast and beautiful nature on the Arctic Circle.
Remote location - Eagle Plains Hotel - 371km Dempster Highway, 34km from Arctic Circle
Half way between Dawson city and Inuvik
Canada's only highway crossing the Arctic Circle and Canada's all-season highway to the Arctic Ocean.
Permanent position and Seasonal.
