CONTRACT CLEANING MANAGER REQUIRED
Location: Peterborough – A1 corridor from Peterborough down to Watford.
Salary: £32,000-£35,000
Company Vehicle/ Allowance Provided
We are a well established, dynamic cleaning and support services company who due to our continued expansion and growth are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic manager to control a number of our client sites around the A1 corridor from Peterborough down to Watford.
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the operational service delivery of the contracts under your control
- Ensure that all applicable and agreed specifications are understood, adhered to and are relevant to the service provided through regular audits with the cleaning teams/clients
- Maintain close personal relationships with key customer contacts
- Ensure that contractual KPI’s are communicated across teams and monitored, also ensure operationally that these KPI’s are exceeded on a monthly basis
- Prepare accurate payroll reports and analyse figures each month
- Quote for additional works through the additional sales process and deal with emergency calls
- Monitor expenditure against prescribed budgets to ensure no overspends
- Ensure that cleaning standard audits are completed on a regular basis and that there are no missing audits.
- Raise purchase orders following correct procedure/ deal with any invoice queries
- Hold monthly meetings where appropriate to review overall performance and look for innovation/efficiencies
- Regularly monitor and analyse individual cleaning members performance and take corrective action where necessary
- Ensure that all staff disciplinary/grievance matters are processed following the company procedures.
- To be the responsible person to ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements with respect to such matters as Health & Safety, quality systems and the environment.
What we are looking for
Essential
- A good standard of spoken and written English and Mathematics required.
- Full driving licence required
- Previous operational management experience of multi contract service delivery
- Excellent leadership and motivational people management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Desirable
- Dedicated to the development of people and the business unit
- Resilience and flexibility to help with the changing demands of the client
- Dynamic and have excellent communication/delegation/organisational skills along with being very goal focussed
- IOSH managing safety
