Salary: From - £22,672 FTE (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Livingston
We are looking for a Part time, Nursery-based Housekeeper to join our Bright Horizons Livingston.
This beautiful nursery supports your child from baby to preschool with lots of exciting things to do, including an enriching Ready for School programme and a Boogie Mites programme to bring the fun of music into the children’s learning.
Nature walks or visits to the local parks and library, giving the children an opportunity to become familiar with their surroundings and confident in new areas.
Located less than five minutes’ walk from Livingston South train station, also offering onsite parking.

What you’ll be doing
- Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families
- Encourage and model behaviour which is appropriate in a child environment being professional at all times
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day
- To carry out daily laundry duties as required
- To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality, for example being aware of personal information regarding children
- Support, promote and implement policies and procedures
- Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g. supporting over meal times and cleaning of equipment
- To take reasonable care of yourself and others and to comply with company Health and Safety guidelines whilst understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe and the part you play.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
- Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
- Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
- Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents
