Housekeeper (Maternity Cover)

Housekeeper
To provide the highest standard of housekeeping for all guest rooms and public areas, including external areas, laundry and cleaning agents, toiletries and stock audits and to report on general maintenance issues.
Duties Include:
- To clean and maintain guests’ rooms and public areas to the standards expected by Ashorne Hill
- To maintain unused guests’ rooms on a daily basis for guest use
- To carry out periodical spring-cleaning: carpet shampooing, vacuuming soft furnishings, stain removing, cleaning paintwork
- To use the correct cleaning agent/equipment for the task in hand
- To carry out all housekeeping duties, procedures, checklists to the required standard
- To assist in stock rotation; replenish linens, towels and toiletries
- To report all linen rejects and that wrong items are brought to your Line Managers attention
- To assist in listing and sorting soiled laundry ready for despatch
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
