Job description
Boodle’s is looking for an experienced Cleaner/House Porter to join one of London’s longest established gentlemen’s clubs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a hospitality environment (hotel or restaurant) with high standards.
Applicants will be expected to have at least 1-years’ experience as a cleaner. Please note that the role does involve handling deliveries most days, so the ability to lift and carry moderate loads is required.
A competitive salary is offered, mainly Monday to Friday working and 24 days paid holiday + bank holidays (time off to be taken during August and Christmas).
Essential skills/knowledge:
· Minimum 1 years’ cleaning experience
· Reliable, professional and good team player
· Good communications skills (spoken and written English)
Main duties:
· Receiving a distributing morning deliveries (linen etc)
· General cleaning duties in the main public areas of the club (hoovering and mopping)
· The cleanliness of the front entrance and front lobby
· Polishing brass throughout the building
· Supporting the Housekeeping team
