UK Based Applicants House Manager - Leaving Care

£12.55-12.80 per hour, 48 hours week plus additional payment for sleeps
Full Time, Permanent Role

A rewarding position have arisen for the right candidate to join the team as House Manager based at a children's home located in Nantwich. The home provides residential care for young individuals aged 16+ who suffer with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

As House Manager you will assist in day-to-day support and care for young people in the home. You will maintain a high-quality standard of care to ensure the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the young person are met. You will provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which the children can feel secure and develop their potential within.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
  • Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with young people, colleagues and professionals
  • Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
  • Experience of and ability to lead staff teams to provide a high level of care within a residential childcare setting
  • Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork, keeping this up to date and organized including care plans and employees’ record keeping is updated
  • Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
  • Up to date knowledge of the current legislation governing the sector

To be considered for this role you must obtain a NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and have a valid UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle. Will be required to complete sleep ins at £50 per sleep and works on a shift pattern basis. The shifts are 2:4.
