We are currently developing our ‘go to market’ plan for 2024/5 and therefore recruiting for a Sales executive. This is an exciting opportunity to promote awareness of a “new to market” refurbishment totalling over £40 million investment. Initially this a department of one – you! However, the possibility of career growth is strong as the team will grow and develop under the right candidate as you sell this finished product to the agency and corporate market predominantly. You’ll also be a champion for social media, looking at ways to engage with the local community and further afield, to raise awareness and increase engagement. Main duties and purpose of the role: Objective of the job: To deliver significant incremental revenue. To develop new business opportunities within our existing accounts. To identify and secure new accounts to support all business areas. Key Activities: Deliver agreed sales target. Evaluate business potential and identify high value development accounts. Devise and deliver comprehensive strategic account plan for each account. Ensure account plan is adhered to and delivered on in timely manner through collaboration with management. Support up skilling of operational team in account management techniques. Candidate profile: Proven Sales Experience: in a successful sales role, preferably within the hospitality but not necessary. Account management experience, gained in a multi stakeholder environment – Required. Demonstrable ability to manage full sales process to deliver incremental revenue – Required. Able to demonstrate skills in commercial negotiation in a business-to-business setting- Required. Exposure to Key Account Management/ Business Development roles would be advantageous – Preferred. Experience of devising business plans based on solid management of pricing and margin. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and commercial acumen. Have the ability to embrace change and influence; think “big” and “out of the box” as initially this will be selling “off plan” for the new developments whilst concentrating also on highlighting existing facilities to the marketplace.
