Hotel Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all required information is obtained and accurately recorded
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin) is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for check-ins, reservations, and other front desk operations
