Being a Hotel Receptionist at Campanile Hotel Glasgow

As Receptionist you will be polite, calm and have the ability to make every guest feel like a VIP. You will have excellent communication skills and always act professionally. You will most likely be the first and last person the guests see, so lasting impressions play a big part of this role.
As a Receptionist you will be involved in duties such as:
- Carry out the role of Duty Manager where required
- Implement & respect chain's SOP
- Implement corrective action after guest review, mystery visit and complaint letter
- Invoice contracted company
- Invoice individual guest
- Manage cash handling
- Control Cash
- Run End of day reports
- Chase debtor
- Participate in the up sell / cross sell
- Participate in the opening and closing of the department
- Ensure guest safety
Knowledge and Skills required:
Training
- Hospitality qualification or high education
Experience
- Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the customer facing environment
Expertise
(job-knowledge, technical skills)
- Confident with Microsoft office
- Knowing of PMS (e.g.: opera)
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Ability to understand & follow guidelines
- Conversational English
- Additional language
