Hotel Receptionist
THE JOB ROLE CONSISTS OF
·To ensure that a friendly and efficient service is given by the reception team always.
·Liaise and co-operate well with other operational departments, notably housekeeping, concierge and accounts on all front office matters which affect them.
·Work towards targets and maximise up sells by promoting in house services from guests checking in and visiting the properties using figures given by the restaurant and bars
·Ensure hotel policy, as it relates to front office, is strictly observed at check-in, during guest stay and departure.
·To check the room availability by room type and to make appropriate adjustments to avoid overbooking, keeping control of the “off” rooms always.
·Handle complaints with immediate action and through follow up not allowing the complaint to leave the building
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
·Previous experience in a similar role preferably
·Strong leadership skills
·Problem solving and complaint handling
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Team player
·Attention to detail
·Self-motivated
