We are looking for outgoing and personable individuals to act as a Hotel Receptionist in our established hotel. The successful applicants will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests, as well as for answering phones, booking reservations and checking guests in and out. The ideal candidate has excellent people skills, spoken and written English, and is capable of multi-tasking.

- Organised, professional and friendly
- A desire to make sure our guests are made to feel comfortable and have a great experience
- Ideally will have worked in a hotel before or similar environment

What you'll do:
- Co-ordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and report any guest concerns
- Answer the phone and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Respond to email and telephone enquiries regarding accommodation and event booking.
- Provide information about the hotel's location and amenities.
- Schedule conferences, dinners, and other events in accordance with guests' requests.
- Check in and check out guests in accordance with the hotel's procedures.
- Greeting new guests and ensure that their stay at the hotel is enjoyable throughout.
- Cashier balancing.
- Occasionally help out in bar and restaurant
- Word, Excel, Outlook
With this role you will be working 40 hours per week, including weekends on a mixture of early and late shifts. Over 18's only due to licensing laws and the serving of alcohol. Only candidates who have completed the two pre-interview screening assessments will be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
