About Hyatt Place - London City East
The 280-room Hyatt Place London City East, managed by Cycas Hospitality, occupies a prime position in the bustling district of Aldgate on Whitechapel Road, close to brick lane and minutes from the heart of London’s Financial district. Our hotel is the first property under the Hyatt Place brand in Central London - we are now searching for a top receptionist.
How will you shine!
The Front Office Team is responsible for first impressions, this means everything for our guests, you will be the benchmark for customer care throughout their stay. Your genuine warmth will shine through and you will be confident to answer any questions and happy to offer information about hotel services, facilities and the local area. You will go that extra mile to make their stay that even more special. Your ultimate role is to make sure all our guests leave us happy.
What will you be doing?
- Provide a great guest experience by enabling a smooth arrival and departure experience including rooming and delivering luggage
- Becoming a brand ambassador, emboding the ethos and culture values.
- Be a local connoisseur, recomending local amenities, restaurants and events going on in buzzing East London.
- Ensuring that all guests have the appropriate credit facilities established
- Handling all payment transactions and billing
- Assisting guests during their stay and handling guest needs
- Maximising revenue opportunities through up selling
- Providing all required information about the Hotel, available services and facilities.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for a fun and creative team player. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4* environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure are key for this role.
With your intuition and dedication to people, you are always striving to deliver a great service for all guests, you will have a warm, people-oriented demeanor, a team-first attitude, Positive outlook and outgoing personality, flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability, the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time across a work shift.
