We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to assist the Front Office and Reception team on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Our ideal candidate has worked as a Receptionist in a similar type property and will thrive on the successful running of this iconic 4 Star hotel.

The Role:

As a Receptionist, you will report directly to the Front Office Manager you will deliver formidable service to our guests. After all, it's all about their journey, and you are at the start of it!

The successful candidate will therefore need to be guest focussed, communicative and have proven experience in Front Office/Reception duties at specifically within Hotels. Most importantly, you will have a positive, driven attitude, smiley disposition, helpful and caring nature and confidence to handle guest queries.

Key Tasks will involve the following:

- To support the Front Office Manager in leading and developing the Reception team, winning the guest's confidence in your ability to find a positive resolution to any query or request.

- To be in the know of and promote our city and the Hotel's fabulous facilities. To maximise revenue opportunities and sign up new guests to our Hilton Honours scheme.

- We are a team at Doubletree Liverpool, Reception are our front facing ambassadors at the heart of the hotel and liaise collaboratively with all departments.

- To perform daily correspondence checks on expected arrivals, liaising with and reporting changes or issues to the Reservations team. Reporting of no shows and cancellations.

- Ensuring clear and straightforward communication is handed over to the nights team, Duty Managers and all other operational departments.

- To be responsible for ensuring that there is a high standard of public relations with all guests, you will have the ability to handle both complaints and compliments, reporting them to the Management Team.

- Making sure all policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company Brand standards and H&S as per your training.
